St. Cloud and the surrounding areas have quite a few summer parks, turned into outdoor skating rinks in the winter months. If indoors is more your style, we’ve got you covered there as well!

Warming Shelters:

Lake George Warming Shelter (Ice Skating) – 425 East Lake Blvd. The Lake George Warming Shelter will be staffed and open for public use, as ice conditions allow seasonally. The shelter will close for adverse weather or poor ice conditions.
Looking to try out ice skating, but don’t have skates? You are in luck, we do! The best part is that they are free to use! Located at the Lake George Warming Shelter. 

Southside/Haws Park Warming Shelter (Ice Skating) –  805 S 13th St. Call to schedule your skating party! 320-650-3053

Indoor Ice Rinks:

SCSU Herbs Brooks National Hockey Center (Ice Skating and Open Hockey) – 1204 4th Ave S. Open skating and open hockey sessions are offered fall through spring. All skating sessions are free for St. Cloud State University faculty, staff and students with a valid ID, and children 5 and younger.

Municipal Athletic Complex: Dave Torrey & Ritsche Arenas– (Ice Skating and Open Hockey) 5001 Veterans Drive. Open skating are offered winter though spring.

Sports Arena East (Ice Skating) – 1410 3rd Ave S, Sauk Rapids. Open skating sessions are offered though winter.
