Moonlight Ski
January 6
Join the annual Moonlight Ski sponsored by the Nordic Ski Club of Central Minnesota and Stearns County Parks! Friday January 6th from 5p – 8p at Quarry Park and Nature Preserve in Waite Park. There’s Free Parking, 4.2 Miles of Scenic Lighted Cross Country Ski Trails, Multiple Bonfires throughout the Park, S’mores, Cookies, Hot Drinks and Door prizes!
Learn To Curl
January 8, 25, & 22
North Star Curling Club is excited to kick off our first season in St. Cloud thanks to St. Cloud Orthopedics! Join us at Herb Brooks National Hockey Center at 5p or 7p on Sunday’s in January for a two hour session where you’ll learn and practice the Olympic sport of curling. Topics include safety, rules, technique, strategy, scoring, and etiquette. We provide all curling equipment. All you need to bring are some clean, rubber-soled shoes to change into at the arena. Dress in layers – it’s cold in the arena but you’ll warm up sweeping! Concessions including food, soda, beer, and seltzer will be available for purchase.
Wonderland by Collide Theatrical Dance Company

The GREAT Theater presents ‘Wonderland” at the Helgeson Learning Lab Theater in Waite Park January 12 – 14. This high-energy show, set to a popular music soundtrack, serves up vivid costumes and dazzling technical dance skills. Wonderland takes audiences on a compelling ride as familiar characters experience mental health challenges and discover friendship and acceptance along the way.
Michael Shynes Album Release
January 14
On January 14th, Michael Shynes will make his long awaited return to the Paramount Theater stage after selling out his first two appearances in the room. Opening the show will be ‘The Voice’ Season 15 runner up, Chris Kroeze (acoustic). Then Michael and his Full Band will take the stage for a night of music and stories with the goal of making this beautiful theater feel like one big living room.
Pretty Princess Party: A Themed Eve of Burlesque and Drag

A new local burlesque and drag show is starting up in town at the Red Carpet! Our first show is on January 14th at 8:30p and we would love to see you there! Formal dress encouraged.
Free Winter Chill Event

St. Cloud Parks and Rec presents Winter Chill, free outdoor winter fun for the whole family at Riverside Park on Saturday January 21 from 1p – 4p! Winter activities include sledding, snowshoeing, Nordic skiing, arts and crafts, making smores over the fire, prizes, and much more.
