Five-Course Harvest Dinner with Beverage Pairings at St. John’s Abbey With Award Winning Chefs

November 1 @ 4:30 pm - 8:30 pm
$195

The Storied Table at St. John’s Abbey: An Immersive Harvest Dinner

Step inside the quiet beauty of St. John’s Abbey for an intimate evening that celebrates Central Minnesota’s land, makers, and Benedictine hospitality. The Storied Table brings award-winning chefs Mateo & Erin Mackbee (Krewe / Flour & Flower, St. Joseph) to the Abbey for a five-course harvest dinner in The Great Hall crafted from peak-season ingredients and the stories behind them. The harvest theme of the dinner will be complemented by artisan ceramics from Maine Prairie Studio. The all-inclusive fee also includes optional tours of the monastic wood, pottery and organ making studios.

Begin with a craft cocktail hour featuring Brother Justus Whiskey, then settle in for a five-course menu with wine, curated pairings from Lift Bridge Brewery and Milk & Honey Cider along with nonalcoholic options from TOST Sparkling Beverage and Northstar Kombucha. Expect fall Midwestern produce, monastic ingredients, and the chefs’ signature balance of comfort and surprise, served on long tables in a candlelit setting that invites warm hospitality, conversation, community and unforgettable food.

Why this night will sell out:

A once-in-a-lifetime setting: dine within the cultural heart of Central Minnesota.

Acclaimed local talent: the Mackbees at their seasonal best.

Thoughtful pairings: Wine, Brother Justus cocktails, Lift Bridge beers, and Milk & Honey ciders.

Limited seats for a warm, communal experience.

A portion of the evening celebrates the Abbey’s legacy of stewardship and community.
